Dr. Shushanne Wynter-Minott, DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC, has over 20 years healthcare experience; caring, managing and coordinating care for patients in a variety of settings. She received her doctor of nursing practice degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2015, family nurse practitioner degree from Barry University in 2010. She is the recipient of a scholar award from the Florida Atlantic University and the outstanding clinical achievement award from Barry University. She wears a variety of hats in her field, including doctor of nursing practice, nurse practitioner, primary care provider, nephrology care provider, sub-investigator in clinical research, speaker and clinical adjunct faculty member for the nurse practitioner/doctor of nursing practices program at Barry University in Florida.
Dr. Wynter-Minott specializes in internal medicine and nephrology. She is a board certified family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations such as the American Nephrology Nurse’s Association, the National Kidney Foundation Council of Advance Practitioners, and the National Nurse Empowerment Institute. She believes that engaging others in her field benefits herself, her colleagues, and her patients. Always willing to share her expertise, Dr. Wynter-Minott has published in professional journals and presented at many professional conferences.
Always putting God at the center of her life, Dr. Wynter-Minott lives by the biblical motto: "Let your light so shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." She loves her career because she believes it is her calling from God. She is passionate about life, people, service and love.
